Easter Sunday.

ということで、自分のホストファミリーと一緒に教会のserviceに参加してきた。

NC時代に時々参加していたこういったサービスもなかなか懐かしい。

Been to Easter service at host's local church in the morning.

We used to join such things back in NC...now more than 10 years ago...

 

こちらの教会は開放的な作りで、音楽も讃美歌ではなくバンドによる演奏。

牧師さんのお話も親しみのもてるものだった。

First time seeing band playing at churchs.

It was very energetic and nice, indeed!

 

こういった季節の行事に参加できるのも、海外に滞在する良い点の1つだと、自分の経験からはそう思っている。

Seasonal events, whether they are religion-related or not, is a part of American culture in my view. 

Easter definitely is.

その後は公園に移動し、ピクニック気分で遅めのランチを頂く。

こんなことやってたなー、と1つひとつがいちいち懐かしい。

アメリカに住んでるんやなぁ…としみじみ感じいる週末。

Having lunch with all the family at the park on Sundays...how nice.

Now everything makes me nostalgic.

 

明日から実習スタートです。

Starting off our rotation at UC Irvine ER!

イギリスの時の同級生が見てくれているらしく、頑張って英語もつけてみます。
